This is another great dessert which is quick and easy to make. You will love the subtle almond flavour of this tasty nutritious cream dessert which will be loved by all the family!


For 8 cream desserts



80g-3oz ground almonds

30g-1oz Maïzena (corn flour)

1 Teaspoon bitter almond flavouring/essence

A few flaked almonds for decoration

500ml-1 pint Milk

50g-2oz Caster Sugar



Put all the ingredients into a saucepan and mix well. Heat the mixture until it thickens stirring constantly.


If you fancy a crunchier texture, mix in a few roughly chopped almonds.


Pour the mixture into Ramekin dishes. Chill in the fridge for at least one hour.
