So many of my students ask me where they can find some...
You might find « beurre de cacahuète » in a supermarket, but it's not sure. Only in some regions of France with many foreigners living here !
If there's « beurre de cachuète », it will be in the « rayon produits du monde », « rayon nourriture exotique ». A special part of the shop selling only « not French food », but also mexican food for example.
If there's no « beurre de cacahuète » in your supermarket and if you live in a town big enough, look for a small asiatic shop. A shop selling « produits asiatiques », « produits exotiques », « épicerie asiatique ». In this kind of shop, if it's not a too small one, there might be some because it will also sell food for African people.
It's only in this kind of shops you might find some.
One more thing : crunchy in French is « croquant ».
