Biscottes : a typical component of French breakfast. Biscotte is sliced bread that's already toasted so it's crunchy.
How to use it ?
Just like fresh bread. Spread some butter and jam on it.
Pain grillé : just like biscotte but more popular. Biscotte are often associated with old people, but in fact pain grillé is just a biscotte in a different shape.
How to use it ?
Like biscotte, for breakfast with butter and jam.
Where to find it ?
Usually in the same rayon with all the breakfast goods : jam, cereals, not far away from the coffee and tea.
How to store it ?
Several weeks in a cupboard. Once opened store in a dry place otherwise they'll lose their crunchy texture.
