Intersting ! You must find the “right moment”.
If you are invited for an apéritif, after your second glass (I talk about a French “after”, it means at least 30 minutes after), when your host asks you if “vous voulez boire quelque chose d'autre ?”, “je vous ressers ?”, use this as an excuse : “non merci, parce que je vais bientôt partir”.
You can use the same sentence after a meal, if after the coffee your host asks if you want something else, a digestif.
But, if they don't offer you anything more, what can you do and say ?
Just wait for a moment when the conversation slows down and say “Bien, je vais vous laisser”, “Bon, je vais y aller”, and add “je vous remercie, j'ai passé un très bon moment”.
If you are not alone (familly), use the plural form :”Bien, on va vous laisser”, “Bon, on va y aller”.
