Here is a recipe of "cake salé". Last time, you had a picture, now you can make it !
150 g farine de blé (all purpose flour)
8 cl huile de tournesol
12 cl de lait tiède (warm milk)
100 g gruyère rapé (grated cheese)
1 cuillère à café (teaspoon) de levure (baking powder)
Preheat oven to 180°C
Grease a loaf pan “moule à cake”
Combine flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add the eggs, oil and warm milk. Mix until just blended then add the grated cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes
This one is the most simple “cake salé” you can make, then you can add 100g of : ham, olives, salmon, dried tomatoes or any kind of cheese according to your taste.
