Well, sour cream is very difficult to find in France. You'll have to choose between "crème fraiche épaisse" and "mascarpone".
Mascarpone is an Italian kind of "crème fraiche", thicker than "crème fraiche épaisse" but it's not exactly sour cream.
Where can I find it ?
"rayon frais", sometimes close to "crème fraiche" but most of the time it will be in the cheese section of "rayon frais".
It's packaged in a plastic box like "crème fraiche épaisse".
