When you buy "légumes primeurs", you can also have "oignon blanc" :
How can I cook it ?
Remove the green part (but keep it you'll use it another time). Remove also this kind of small roots on the opposite.
Then, use it like an onion, sauté for example.
As it's less strong than an ordinary onion, you can also have it raw if you want ! Just pour a pinch of salt on it and "bon appétit".
Where can I find it ?
On anopen marketit's better and fresher than in a
supermarket.
What can I do with the green part I removed ?
Make an "omelette"
Pour 1 spoon of oil in a frying pan. Fry this green part, then add the beaten eggs and cook for a few minutes.
