Check the “franchise” and “vétusté”

“Franchise” what's that ?
The deductible “franchise” is the amount that your insurance does not reimburse you. A “franchise” is always at your expense. If you insure your home, your furniture or your car and you have a “franchise” of 200, 300, 600 euros, your insurance will refund the value of your property less your “franchise”.

“Vétusté”, what's that ?
It is a percentage of the value of your property that your insurance removes each year. "vétuste" means "old", “obsolete” ... Please check your insurance to find out what is the “vétusté” percentage.
