Quenelles

When you buy "quenelles" you can buy "quenelles natures" (plain) or "quenelles au brochet" (fish flavoured quenelles).
A quenelle is mainly made of flour.
How to use them ?
You must cook the quenelles because they are sold raw. You can boil them then add to a sauce, like a bechamel.
You can also cut them into pieces and make them fry.
Quenelles are very good in a "bouchée à la reine" / "vol-au-vent".
If you cook a vegetable gratin, add some sliced quenelles inside.
Where in a supermarket ?
In the refrigerated aisle, close to the fresh pasta and charcuterie.

How to store them ?
A few days in the fridge
